Mytek Digital 2019 / 8x192ADDA DIO USB2 firmware version 1.01

Important notes:

To update 8x192ADDA DIO USB2 firmware to the latest revision an installed the Mytek Control Panel is required. The update can be performed on Windows 7,8,10 and OSX Yosemite / El Capitan / Sierra / High Sierra.


How to update the firmware:

Start Mytek Control Panel application. The program ("General" tab / "Firmware" section) will show you the current revision of your unit, and whether it needs an update or not. If so, then simply press the "Load firmware file" button to find the firmware file (Mytek_8x192_DIO_USB2_firmware_v1.01.mfb). Next click "Update" button. A progress bar will indicate when the flash process is finished.The 8x192ADDA DIO USB2 will reset itself. Before using restore the 8x192ADDA DIO USB2 to factory settings. A reboot of the computer is not necessary.


When the update fails:

Disconnect power cord.
Press and hold the BOOT MODE button and connect the power cord again.
The CARD runs in Bootloader mode. The 8x192 will not detect USB DIO Card
The update process should then be tried again.
To restore to standard mode turn the device off and on again.
